We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional specializing in Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations with in-depth expertise in traffic monitoring and network packet analysis. 

The ideal candidate will : 

  • Play a key role in analyzing the country ISP data traffic patterns, identifying packet sources and destinations.
  • Be responsible for detecting the Digital Operators who are conducting transactions within the county and the number of e-transactions carried by each Operator. 
  • collaborate with cross functional team to build high level requirements and design for system to Monitor Digital Operators/e-Transactions.


    • The duration of the assignment is 2 to 3 months.
    • The engagement will be carried out remotely.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect the Digital Operators and their Transactions
  • Design, Develop and implement integrations needed with ISP systems to get packet information and ensure valid traffic across all ISPs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain robust monitoring systems and tools.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on traffic patterns, network utilization, and incident analysis.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in traffic monitoring and packet analysis within ISP environments.
  • Proven Experience in large-scale ISP operations, Regulatory Authority, Traffic Monitoring Challenges and by-pass techniques.
  • Proficiency in various tools and protocols such as Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP, or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and BGP.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to read and write in French for professional communication
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time during the contract period


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience in Monitoring/Integrating with Digital Operators ensuring tax compliance.
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell).
