Novancy is a key player in IT recruitment, specializing in connecting IT talents with innovative companies. We are currently collaborating with a prestigious client, a leader in its sector, to strengthen its team with a Freelance Data Engineer, who is fluent in Dutch or Flemish.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months (renewable)

Mission

As a Data Engineer, you will work on large-scale data management and transformation projects. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Design & Implementation: Develop robust and scalable data pipelines.
  • Optimization: Improve database performance and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects to meet business needs.
  • Technology Watch: Propose innovative solutions (Big Data, Cloud, etc.).

Requirements

Languages: Fluent in Dutch or Flemish (mandatory) + English or French.

Technical Expertise:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT tools.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills: Autonomy, precision, and strong team spirit.
